The complainant states that her dog was first seen on July 2021 regarding tumors on her abdomen; she claims that the test results were unavailable and required her to go to a different pet hospital. She also states that in September 2021 Hudman did another test and failed to get the results back to her; she also states he refused to talk to her, so she had to go to an emergency facility. She claims that Hudman doesn't care about her dog and that he's xenophobic and biased against her ethnicity (likely Slavic or Eastern European).
Hudman's response states that the complainant first came to the clinic in August 2021 and arrived early; upon entering the facility she was hostile and cursing in front of others in the waiting room. He states the dog was being seen for loose stools (no mention of a tumor) and medication was prescribed; he also expected the complainant to apologize to his staff. The problem didn't resolve so he ordered a gastrointestinal panel in September of 2021, with the test results being sent out and delayed by the Labor Day weekend. Per Hudman the complainant called every day for results and felt they were withholding the test results, and due to what are described as "ongoing threats and verbal abuse to the staff" she was informed that the clinic would no longer see her.
This was an Investigative Division report that went directly to the Board. The Findings of Fact begin with the visit on August 26, 2021; there's no mention about an appointment on July 7, 2021 at all. As this first incident appears to set the stage for the later one, it might be worth knowing if it happened; per the Findings of Fact it either didn't happen or wasn't worth mentioning. Some things that were worth mentioning include the fact that the complainant fed the dog noodles and steak; Hudman apparently suggested adding potatoes.
